Job description

EGINA is a deep offshore oil and gas project in Nigeria , located 150Km from the coast .
Development in 1500 m water depth includes a moored FPSO ,an offloading calm buoy , production loops and injection lines .
Gas is exported via a pipe line.

The job holder is responsible for co-ordinating all shipping and transit activities of the Project:
*Receive and process all information about materials imported into Nigeria directly by the Project and sometimes assist in the Contractors operations
*Instruct and coordinate operational activities delegated to other Total entities, specifically air and sea freight shipping and import operations, with a special care for urgent materials.
*Liaise with various external parties in order to secure the necessary permits and relevant approvals.
*Liaise with internal users and interface with reception and warehouse personnel /facilities to ensure prompt delivery.
*Comply with finance processes procedures related to his activities, audits, invoices technical certification, shipping activity payments.
*Track and follow exports and temporary imports activities for effective repair and return of materials
*Perform office activities: Maintain documentation, record keeping/filing system, including final Customs release documentation.
*Direct and guide Company personnel and vendors concerning Nigerian laws, practices and government regulatory bodies on a daily basis.

Required skills

Education
BSc in engineering or Social Sciences
Experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in Oil and Gas industry, including some knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics activities.
Knowledge of international transport regulation, standards and documentation for air freight and sea freight
Fluent English is mandatory.

Position: Umbilical Engineer (10016511)

Within Egina project, the UFR Umbilicals Junior Engineer will be reporting to the Umbilical Systems Leader for the duration of the project. The Umbilicals Junior Engineer will follow-up the Umbilicals System activities related to: design consistency with design basis and data set, technical support for the Umbilicals System activities during EPCI execution, monitor the compliance of the Umbilicals System development within project schedule, support in coordinating tasks related to Umbilical System, mainly internal to the package but even at the Interface if required.

In such a context, the Umbilicals Junior Engineer? essential scope of work will be defined as follows:
Follow-up the technical tasks related to Umbilicals System.
Monitor the effectiveness of the flow of information inside the Umbilicals System with all the parties involved.

After FID/CA, as part of on the job training, keeping above tasks and responsibility, he will have in addition to :
assist the UMBILICAL Systems Leader on the technical tasks, working from CONTRACTORS Lagos based project office,
monitor the progress of technical activities related to the Umbilicals System, inside the main frame of UFR Package EPCI contract,
contribute to the promotion of a no change policy inside the assigned package, in order to preserve the Project Schedule,
assist to ensure technical documentation is consolidated with all agreed technical tasks to be developed,

promote and stimulate effective communication among the parties involved, especially among the team members and Contractor?s engineers of Umbilical System package.
participate on regular basis to the project technical meetings, as necessary, with the different contractors, with a dedicated follow-up on the implementation of technical meeting resolutions,
assist in maintaining up-to-date Deepwater Umbilical projects feedback to complement design dossier (as need be).

Within the framework of an integrated project team, during the start-up preparation phase :
Contributes within the onshore Inspection team to the performance of the operational inspection activities performed offshore, by assisting in campaign preparation, in means mobilisations, in works follow-up, in methods definition, in reporting and reporting analysis, and in documentation filing and securing.
Follows-up the completion of the base line inspection.
Follows-up the technical problems raised during the commissioning and the start-up
Follows-up the Inspections performed by the authorities and certifying authorities, participates in organising their missions as required, follows-up their job and facilitates their activities.
Organises and coordinates as instructed, the lifting equipment periodic inspection with the Contractors and the various equipment users. Ensures proper follow-up and implementation of colour coding system. Coordinates with offshore Inspection staff for efficient performance.
Assist the Head of Maintenance and Inspection and Inspection Methods engineer in all documentation aspects including Unisup reporting, use of FAME +, initiation and follows up of materials procurement.
Maintain databases as required, such as the onshore master for the lifting equipment listings.
Provides logistic support as required, in conjunction with Contractors as the case may be for any material analysis, or other technical service that may have to be carried out outside.
Attends tests or inspection performed in Contractors premises
Provides technical assistance and support to the offshore staff; visit the FPSO regularly,
Participates to inspection works and even inspection campaigns (shutdown) as necessary.

Required skills

Education
BSc or HND with experience in metallurgy, chemical, mechanical ,welding, materials
Specific training on inspection,quality control,corrosion control .
A high level engineer with lower experience could be accepted.
Experience
Professional experience : 5 years operational experience for a graduate engineer with high level educations, or 8 years operational experience for a professional technician.

Position: Installation Umblical Flow Line and Riser Engineer (10016536)

Assisting the UFR Installation Leader in the day to day follow-up of Detailed Engineering studies (installation procedures / analyses) for installation of flowlines, risers, subsea spools / jumpers, umbilicals, suction piles, in UFR Contractor Offices.
Reviewing (with UFR interface leader) installation planning developed by UFR Contractor and identify clashes with other operations / packages (such as Drilling)
Assisting in the follow up of Company Items delivery to UFR Contractor (FPSO / SPS equipment, precommissioning / testing equipment)
During installation phase, assisting in the follow up of offshore site supervision personnel from Company
Attending site integration tests, mock-up tests, loadings, specific installation phases and write feedback reports
Assisting to ensure that HSE issues are taken into consideration during design
Getting assistance from TOTAL Specialists, or third parties, if required, for specific topics
Develop feedback reports and lessons learnt return sheets from site visits, tests, installation phases

Required skills:

Education
Graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline that relates to industry at large and preferably to Petroleum Industry activities (minimum B.Sc.),
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in the industry, preferably with practice of Oil Gas industry for offshore and subsea works.
Basic knowledge of umbilical, flowlines and risers components r deepwater Projects.
Basic knowledge of general subsea equipment
Basic practice of offshore works (preferable)
Skills
Fluent in English both verbally and in writing

Contribute to defining ways and means of identifying and minimizing risks, and the impact of activities, in particular for construction/ commissioning activities deemed at risk on site for simultaneous operations or in downgraded situations
Take part in supervising the drafting of reference documents (directives, rules, specifications, procedures)
Check on enforcement, efficiency and maintenance of the HSE-MS
Take part in HSE studies and risk assessments undertaken for the execution of the works
Contribute to the completion of permits and the documents needed prior to works on site , and see to it that prescriptions are applied
Perform audits of installations and take part in ?Job Safety Analyses?
Contribute to preparedness for emergency situations via training and exercise plans
Supervise reporting on incidents, accidents, anomalies
Take part in investigations and analyses on incidents, accidents and anomalies
Ensure HSE performance monitoring and the related benchmarking
Participate in planning of HSE performance improvement and associated monitoring
Manage the follow-up of execution of actions determined after incident, accident, audit and inspection analyses
Make sure medical and first aid materials and equipment are available on the sites
